V roce 2008 jsme se rozloučili s hercem a produkčním filmu "The Dark Knight" Heath Ledgerem a tak na počest tohoto muže se rozhodl T-Pain pojmenovat svůj nadcházející mixtape pojmenovat "The Heath Ledger Project". Díky interview, které T-Pain poskytl pro Rap-Up magazín, YMCMB zpěvák oznámil příchod tohoto mixtapeu jakožto počest tomuto muži, u kterého obdivoval vášeň, kterou vkládal do hraní a stejně bude chtít T-Pain toto poskytnout svým fanouškům a posluchačům.

T-Pain: “Well, you know how [Ledger] died. He kind of went crazy because he was so into being the Joker. After they finished shooting [The Dark Knight], he couldn’t stop being the Joker. I think he went so crazy trying to master his craft that he died for what he loved doing. He died mastering his craft...It’s going to be called The Heath Ledger Project because that’s how much I love music. That’s how much passion I have for music. I want to master my craft like [Ledger] tried to do before he died.” Nikdo by nevěřil, že Rihanna a Chris Brown by mohli spolupracovat. Po incidentu, ve kterém Chris Brown brutálně zbil svojí tehdejší přítelkyni Rihannu a byl za to odsouzen, se blíská na lepší časy.
